I am writing to see if you can help me. A relative died in his home in Peoria, Arizona in June. He was not found for several days or it could have been over a week, we don't know. Over the past few months, I have emptied the house and removed the carpets. Today, I still can smell a residual odor though most people don't notice it. The concert under where he was found is still discolored. I soaked it in vinegar about a month ago. This week, I came back to work on the house and noticed it still smelled. I had some some bathroom cleaner in my hand and tried some on the spot. The foam of the bathroom cleaner drew out some of the discoloration so I did a second application. I also used Clorox on the stain. I've been working on it for two days and I am afraid the smell won't go away. I am ready to start painting and carpeting to sell the house. Do you have any recommendations for me?
